 This is a silver Halda open-face pocket watch with a very high-quality Swedish Patek Philippe movement, made in Sweden in the 1900s.

DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions and 5-60 minute numbers. The dial has nice golden antique style hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed in the upper centre HALDA.  There are inner numerals 13-24.

MOVEMENT: The Halda Swedish anchor movement is comparable to the Patek Philippe high-quality movement. The movement is in great working condition as it just returned from the watchmaker. However, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed “Halda Fickurfabrik”.

CASE: The watch lies in a silver open-face case with a plain finish and a monogram. The inner side of the case is stamped with Swedish silver U6 HH. The cuvette is signed “HALDA FICKURFABRIK, N°8181”.

Halda was founded in 1887 by the manufacturer Henning Hammarlund.

The company Halda made high-quality pocket watches in Sweden. The company produced pocket watches until the First World War. They produced approx. 3-6.000 pocket watches. Watches were made in two sizes (men and women) and different high qualities.
