This is a fine silver open-face cylinder pocket watch made in Switzerland circa 1880.
DIAL: The white enamel dial has black roman numerals and blued spade hands with a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The bottom of the dial is signed Lagiér Genéve.
MOVEMENT: The singed gilt frosted bar movement has a key wind and the winding key is included. The movement is signed Lagiér Genéve on the right-hand side. This pocket watch is currently fully functional but due to its antique nature, we cannot guarantee precise accuracy.
CASE: The watch lies in a rubbed case with a monogram free cartouche in the centre. The cuvette is inscribed ‘Examined by Webster, Cornhill, London’ and numbered 11491. The back of the case is hallmarked “argent” (silver) and numbered 2157 and 5042.
